Summer Sunset Engagement Session

“Summertime, and the living is easy.” Ella Fitzgerald definitely got that right and Megan and Bradley share Ms. Ella’s sentiments. While sunset hour is still a bit balmy in the southern United States, there’s a slight breeze that’s a reprieve from the daytime heat. The symphony of critters come out and a nocturnal scent fills the air. It’s an environment synonymous with the deep south and there’s a natural romance about it that is its own brand of alluring. Megan and Bradley get it, and Meridith Lee Photography captured it here.

How did you meet?

We started off as friends at a local sporting goods store in Starkville, MS. He was finishing up school at Mississippi State. I was a full time employee new to the Starkville area. I took a semester off school to save money and figure out what i wanted to do. We had mutual friends so we were around each other frequently. I think we always had a crush on each other from the beginning. 😉

What is your proposal story?

What began as a birthday trip to Nashville turned out to be not only the greatest birthday present but a dream come true. The night before my birthday on March 13, we stood on the Cumberland Bridge where Bradley popped the question. I thought we were just taking a few pictures with friends before dinner. He hired a professional photographer to capture our sweet moment.

Tell us about the ring/band.
