How did you meet?
We met in junior high when we were in the 8th grade. We had actually met once before but never talked to each other. He caught my eye in the lunch line. LOL
What is your proposal story?
Daniel asked me to marry him on my first Mothers Day which was in May of 2015. He pulled out the ring in the car while we on our way to a party. It caught me by surprise! Proposing in the car is more of his style than getting down on one knee.
Tell us about the ring/band.
Well this is actually my second engagement ring to have. My first ring was destroyed by me wearing it to the gym trying to get fit for our big day! I noticed my ring was hard to get off and then my mom pointed out diamonds were missing, let’s just say my ring was no longer a circle but now an oval shape. However my new ring is just as stunning as my first! It has a big center diamond and has two rows of smaller diamonds around the center. Square shape is my go to because I love a princess cut! Daniels band is still being looked for at this moment. We haven’t chose his band yet.
Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.
Our photographer is from out of the city so I scouted out a beautiful green area. Our city has been lacking in rain so I was just praying for some type of greenery to exist. I chose a dress that is the color our wedding is going to be. Our wedding is going to be simple and elegant so plenty of floral and just green floral accents. So my earrings are like little leaves in a ring with a matching bracelet. I only wore my engagement ring because I wanted it to stand out more than any of my other jewelry. Daniel is a simple man however he loves a nice polo. He went shopping two days ahead and bought two different soft silk polos with this white polo with small blue polka dots being the winner for the shoot.\
Have you started planning your wedding? What is your wedding date
Yes! Started planning our wedding in November of 2021 and our wedding date is March 11, 2023 which will be our 14th anniversary! Officially we will have been together for half of our lives at that time!
