Madrid is a beautiful city, and it’s even more beautiful when you’re in love. If you’re thinking of popping the question, there’s no better place to do it than in front of the stunning Spanish steps. Just imagine your loved one’s face when you get down on one knee and profess your undying love. And if they say yes, you can celebrate with a romantic stroll through the nearby Retiro Park. No matter how you choose to propose, Madrid is sure to provide a magical setting for your proposal.
In Madrid, in the heart of the city centre, you will find the Retiro Park, which has become a favorite for most of the bride and groom who want to swell their knees. The Indian groom organized a stroll through the Retiro Park in the middle of his holiday in Spain, so that the bride would not suspect anything, as they would go for a walk in the park as a mere tourist activity. So that when she least expected it, he could take out a ring and ask her to marry him there and then. And thank goodness she had the support of Weddings and Events by Natalia Ortiz! Because they got everything ready so that, after sunset, with the violin playing and the decorations set up, the big scene could take place.
For the scene of the proposal, in front of a beautiful fountain gushing water, we placed a lot of red rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart, as well as different candles around it. And the best part… The violinist was waiting for them at the proposal scene as he played next to the romantic heart of petals! As the bride and groom made their way around the fountain, the violin could already be heard, and they immediately came upon the rose petal heart by surprise. At that moment the groom knelt down and took out the splendid ring to ask her the big question. The bride, excited and happy, did not hesitate for a second to answer “I DO!
How did you meet?
We met through some mutual friends. We started dating and found a lot of things in common. We love cycling, walking by the sea, playing paddle tennis.
What is your proposal story?
As we both like the sea very much. He suggested I go out for a walk and take pictures of us. When I arrived, I saw the heart of rose petals and the photographer taking pictures of me. I was very surprised but happy. He asked me to marry him and I said yes!
