Katie and Mario walked throughout the beautiful garden and beach that is part of Washington Oaks State Park. Since the couple’s sweet pups were part of the proposal, they of course, got to be featured in the engagement session too! The couple ended the evening dancing in the ocean waves under the warm Florida sunset.
How did you meet?
We met working together—he was the chef, I was waitressing.

Mario planned a cute proposal at home along with the help of our two pups!
Tell us about the ring/band.
My engagement ring is a ruby. Mario’s birthstone is a ruby, mine is a diamond. My engagement ring incorporates both of these stones which I love. I love that it’s different and holds more meaning. Mario is my rock and having a ruby reminds me of that everyday.
Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.
I wore a white dress with blue florals—Mario had a light blue button down to compliment that. Accessories were really just the ring and our pups!
