How did you meet?
About seven years ago we met at a dance hall in College Station, Texas while we were both attending Texas A&M University.
What is your proposal story?
Tyler and I are currently doing the kind distance thing (Texas and New York) and when I was able to take some time off to escape the cold this winter, we decided to meet up at my parents’ vacation home in the Caribbean! Tyler has asked my dad for his blessing when he came to visit at Christmas, and then he flew to Tortola the night before me, showed my parents the ring and invited them to be apart of our special moment. We were taking photos on the beach before dinner the next day when he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Obviously I said yes!
Tell us about the ring/band.
The engagement ring is white gold with a halo and plain band. We have picked out a pave eternity ring for the wedding band.
