Aaron and Melissa love their city. So much so that they requested their engagement session right in the heart of Washington DC. We began our day at the Lincoln memorial, strolling through the National Mall to Constitution Gardens. Showcasing the city where they fell in love, this classic engagement session gives us classic 1960s vibes.
How did you meet?
Aaron and I met in high school. We were part of a friend group and good friends throughout most of high school.
What is your proposal story?
We went on a trip to New Orleans in April 2019. I had absolutely no idea I was going to get engaged on that trip. We spent the morning eating benignant and walked over to Lafayette Square where he popped the question.
Tell us about the ring/band.
The ring is a round cut diamond on a thin gold band. Aaron actually designed it at Ascot Diamond in Arlington, Virginia. The wedding band is an eternity band with gold tails.
Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.
For the engagement shoot I wore a dress from Calvin Klein. The shoes were from Windsor.

Yes, we planned and had our lovely wedding on September 18, 2021.
