Lucca chose a beautiful sandy beach of the Balearic Islands to hold a surprise proposal to Gema. Tanya Vasliuk captured the romantic memories amongst the stunning backdrop of the picturesque Playa S’Arena, which provided the perfect Majorcan charm for the shoot.
A carefully crafted bouquet by La Floreria for the bride-to-be complimented the same plants used to decorate the lighthouse the couple posed in. The Balearic Lighthouse provided the lighting that added a dreamlike aura and the beach was set up to mimic an aisle and alter for the bride and groom-to-be. Gema selected a very natural hair and makeup look, created by Bel Stylist. The couples’ attire coordinated with each other. Gema chose a chic boho dress while Lucca sported a beige look. Their engagement sure looked like a fairy-tale and we hope they’ll live happily ever after.
How did you meet?
We met through some mutual friends and from the first day we knew there was a spark between us.
What is your proposal story?
I didn’t know anything about the proposal. We were walking along the beach and suddenly came to a beautiful set-up decorated with lights. I saw my partner down on one knee to ask me to marry him. Of course, I said YES, it was super exciting!
Have you started planning your wedding? What is your wedding date?
We know we’re going to celebrate the wedding in Mallorca, we really love the island. However, we don’t have a date yet. We’re waiting for the borders to open so all our friends and loved ones can come.
