Playful Rosemary Beach Engagement Session

Matt and Taylor’s engagement session at Rosemary Beach was an absolute delight, full of playful touches that perfectly capture their vibrant personalities. From frolicking along the beach to twirling in the sea breeze, these two lovebirds couldn’t stop laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Even the candid moments were full of charm and wit, with Taylor’s infectious smile and Matt’s silly antics making for some stunning shots. It’s clear to see that these two are meant to be together, and their joy together is simply infectious. This Rosemary Beach engagement is a testament to the power of love, laughter, and a little bit of mischief.

How did you meet?

We met each other through Matt’s sister. I worked for her for a while and Matt came into her place of business and that is how we met. My first reaction of Matt was that he was an extremely attractive guy. We didn’t speak the first time he came by. We ran into each other a few times at his sisters business before we ever officially were introduced to one another and had a conversation. When we did finally speak, we hit it off instantly. We were both very attracted to each other and knew we had chemistry and wanted to explore a relationship. Our first few dates were romantic boat rides and getting to know each other.

What is your proposal story?

Matt planned the most perfect family vacation to the beach at Cape San Blas, FL. He hired a photographer and I thought we were taking family photos on the beach at sunset. To my surprise, he dropped down on one knee while we had been walking through ankle deep water, and he started pouring his heart out with the sweetest words and pulled a ring out of his pocket and proposed. We were both crying and I was in shock that he and his family kept the proposal a secret. I of course said yes and couldn’t wait until the day I became his wife.

Tell us about the ring/band. Please be as descriptive as possible.

Matt went to a customer jeweler and designed a beautiful 1.5 karat cushion cut diamond ring. The band itself is gold and very thin. It looks like a classic and timeless diamond ring.

Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.

We planned 2 outfits. One was a slightly more casual outfit with neutral earth tones. I wore a dressy pair of beige colored palazzo pants with a taupe body suit. Matt coordinated me with khaki pants and a button up shirt. Our second outfit was my favorite and we saved it for last. I wore a white maxi dress with two long slits up the front of the dress. And Matt wore khaki pants and a blue button up shirt. I paired both outfits with earrings from Southern Oyster Company.

Have you started planning your wedding? What is your wedding date?

We planned a small elopement style wedding with our closest friends and family. We wanted to keep it as intimate as possible with no more than 30 guest at our ceremony. My biggest focus was marrying the love of my life and not so much on having a huge grand affair. I didn’t want a long engagement so we tied the knot just a few weeks ago!
