Bavand and Shadi’s surprise proposal couldn’t have been in a more fitting location – the Eternal City! Surrounded by the profound architecture and the twinkling holiday lights, Istanti Senza Tempo captured these LA natives in the most natural and romantic way that has us swooning.
How did you meet?
We both work in the health sector: we met by hanging out with the same people and then we started dating.
What is your proposal story?
We organized a trip to Italy during last Christmas holidays and I, Bavand, thought it was the right time to ask Shadi to marry me. So I organized a surprise with the photographer and the videomaker in the place in Rome that Shadi could not wait to visit: the Trevi Fountain. She knew that we would have a guided tour in the very early hours of the morning – to avoid the crowd during my proposal – and instead, once there, I knelt down and asked her hand! Obviously the photographer and videomaker already knew everything, so they were able to capture it with wonderful images and a video.

The ring is an amazing solitaire that Shadi loved at first sight!

We had normal outfits since the proposal was a surprise.
