The love from this engagement session is flowing from these photos! Lacy and Slater walked the rocky edges of Vasquez Rocks in sunny southern Cali (one of our fav locations) as Liana Herrera Photography snapped some wonderful shots. Lacy’s blonde hair reflecting the bright white rays and Slater’s dark features created such a warm feeling that you can feel from looking at their photos. To make things even more perfect, their sweet little girl got to get in on the camera action!
How did you meet?
We met at a party with mutual friends, 5 years ago in 2015. Our mutual friend helped bring us together so we started hanging out casually. We then went on a few dates. We both knew we liked each other a lot, but I wasn’t ready to be tied down yet. I love to travel, so I decided I wanted to move to a different city 5 hours away. We didn’t talk much when I moved and I dated other people. I realized I missed home (and him) so I ended up moving back a few months later. We instantly continued where we left off and became exclusive. We lived happily ever after and had a baby girl 2 years later!
What is your proposal story?
We went to a Christmas party at our friends house on December 21st. It was a white elephant party. I just had a turn so I picked a gift. It was his turn next and that’s when he got down on one knee and proposed in front of all of our friends.
