Cincinnati Park Engagement Session

Emily and Lee explored a local Ohio park for their September engagement session with Emma McMahan Photography. Want a location that has it all? Look no further than Ault Park! Serene forest area, soothing water feature, romantic floral arches, and elegant castle-esque infrastructure – this couple’s photo session featured it all.

How did you meet?

Lee and I met online, which is funny considering we both attended college at Northern Kentucky University at the same time. We were both in Greek life, and we even have some mutual friends, yet we never met in college. We both agree that this was for the best since neither of us were ready for each other yet.

What is your proposal story?

Lee surprised me with a weekend trip to the Red River Gorge. We found a private spot off the edge of the natural bridge. Lee got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was absolutely perfect. I don’t enjoy being the center of attention and I love being outdoors so he did a great job with the proposal.

Tell us about the ring/band.

My engagement ring is a thin gold band with an oval diamond and two small diamonds on each side. I absolutely adore my ring. I always wanted something delicate and elegant, but still a little different and I think lee accomplished that. Lee worked with Bob from Swindled Jewelers in Erlanger, KY.

Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.

I’m wearing the South OF France Maxi Dress from JessaKae, an online boutique that I shop at. My earrings and necklace are from target. Lee is wearing target khakis and a button up shirt from TJ Maxx.
