Charming Outdoor Engagement Session in Alabama

Tinder strikes again! Another love match has come forth from the dating app and once Amanda and Forrest got over their first date jitters, the two were inseparable. Not so long after that, the pair became engaged. Congrats to the sweethearts!

How did you meet?

Forrest and I met on Tinder. He messaged me first and after talking for a few days, asked me out on a date. Our first date was super awkward, but something told me to go back out with him when he asked me for a second date. The second date was a whole lot better and I was able to relax and have fun. I’m so glad I went on the second date!

What is your proposal story?

We had been dating for 2 years when we started seriously talking about getting married. We knew we wanted to get married but we had never talked about specifics. One day I was like “Let’s go look at rings!” And so we did! I picked out my set and we bought his wedding band. He officially proposed when my engagement ring came back from getting resized. We went out for a walk at Bayfront Park (a park by Mobile Bay in Daphne where we live) and that’s where he officially asked me to be his wife.

Tell us about the ring/band.

My engagement ring is from the vintage-inspired Neil Lane Bridal collection at Kay Jewelers. It has a round cut diamond haloed by smaller round diamonds, with even smaller diamonds arranged around the halo. I love my ring!
