Lakeside Cape Cod Engagement Session

Estefania and Steve’s love story couldn’t be more modern with an online dating start, but their love and loyalty sounds like one that was written for the storybooks. Tatsiana Greenberg Photography couldn’t be more elated to photograph her good friend’s e-sesh, or to revel in Estefania’s newfound happiness. We couldn’t be more glad either, especially when we got a chance to see her left-hand bling. It’s a beauty!

How did you meet?

Steve and I met online through Match.com. He sent me a really nice and funny message. Since our first date, we have been inseparable.  Funny story: my yearly membership was almost over, yet his was a couple of months old. He got lucky! (So did I!)

What is your proposal story?

Steve had asked me to come over to his place for a surprise. When I got there, his bedroom door was closed, which was strange because it is always open. He asked me to come by his room, and he asked me to open the door. On his bed, he had spelled out “Will you marry me?” with rose petals. It was so beautiful. He got down on both knees, and said “Would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?” I had no doubt on my mind… of course I said yes!

Tell us about the ring/band.

Steve had the ring made by a friend. The diamond had been part of a ring his father had given his mother. His mother gave him the diamond to give to me. The old mine cut diamond was set on a white gold band, with Colombian emeralds on each side of it. My birth stone is the diamond, and his is the emerald. When he gave me the ring, he said it was a symbol of how he will always be by my side.
