Historic Steam Train Engagement Session in Connecticut

Okay now THIS is neat! Corinne and Matt’s unique engagement session with Allie Dearie Photography is the best combination of vintage and romance. The whimsical couple’s wedding venue is The Lace Factory which sits alongside the historical Essex Steam Train – so of course the couple choose to have that setting fill their photos’ background! Corinne’s gold autumn sweater, the photo booth’s retro style, and the bold circus mural featured on the train car makes for the ultimate Connectican look.

How did you meet?

Law school!

What is your proposal story?

We don’t really have one. We were in San Francisco and stopped by the Brilliant Earth Showroom and picked out a ring together. When it arrived, we started telling people we were getting married. We didn’t need a formal proposal to make it official. We made an important life decision together!

Tell us about the ring/band.

The ring is from Brilliant Earth. It’s rose gold with a vintage feel.

Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.

The bride’s outfit: sweater from Mod Cloth, jeans from Gap, and boots from Target! The groom’s outfit was from Kohl’s.
