Fine Arts Museum Engagement Session in The Golden City

If you want to see an engagement session that has a little bit of everything, Tatiana and Francisco’s is the one to look at! Lauren Weber Photography captured the lovely couple in some of San Fran’s most picturesque spots. The session ventured from the Legion of Honor, a fine arts museum, to the Sutro Baths at Land’s End. French-styled architecture AND sunset ocean views? – heck yes!

How did you meet?

We’ve known each other our entire lives! Our families met at a small church in Daly City, CA and have been close for a few decades. In 2012, his sister insisted on playing matchmaker, despite our initial hesitations, and here we are more than 7 years later!

What is your proposal story?

We were taking our fall photos with our fur babies, Bailey and Espresso, when Frankie popped the question. I could tell he was nervous because he was struggling to find the right words and eventually I blurted out, “Are you proposing?!” The entire moment was a blur and I don’t remember exactly what Frankie said, but my memory served me at the perfect moment: I can clearly picture him getting down on one knee – his face full of emotion and his voice quivering as he held back tears before asking, “Will you spend a lifetime with me?”

Tell us about the ring/band.

Custom 1.2 carat engagement ring with a cushion-cut diamond & a diamond-encrusted, white-gold band.

Tell us about your engagement shoot outfits and accessories.

We had two outfits for our photo shoot: one dressy and one relaxed. In the first location, at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, I wore a cute & casual floral green knee-high dress & Francisco opted for a Navy blazer with a collared-shirt & jeans. For our second, at Land’s End, I wore jeans and a navy multi-colored top while Frankie wore a black sweater and jeans. For my accessories, I wrote a chunky pearl-white necklace with my green dress & dangly gold earrings for my casual outfit.
